Koh Lanta

Chill out on Koh Lanta, her vast and serene beaches, which is actually composed of two islands, separated by a thin passage of water, Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai...

Let’s go !

About 40 minutes away from Phuket are the two islands of Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai. They offer several good places for anchorage.

a) Had Klhong Dao( 7°38.468’N  99°1.474’E)

- Protected during north-east monsoon

- 4 to 6 m deep in the middle the bay. Watch out for rocks in the south of the bay

- We like going there for beaches and restaurants

b) Hat Khlong chak( 7°29.812’N  99°4.329’E)

- Protected during north-east monsoon

- 8 to 10m sandy bottoms

- We like it for Waterfall Bay and the National Park

c) Koh Po and Talat Lanta (7°32.677’N  99°6.661’E)

- Protected during south-east monsoon

- We recommend an anchorage between Koh Klang et Koh Po, where it is about 5m deep. Best anchorage for the night !

- Watch out for dangerous rocks 500m north of Koh Po Village

d) Koh Kam Yai (7°35.095’N  99°8.272’E)

- Protected during both seasons

- Don’t take the passage between Koh Kam Yai and Koh Kam Noi. Make your way between Koh Bubu and Koh Kam Noi. You will find an anchorage within 5m of water.

e)Koh Talabeng (7°38.145’N  99°8.282’E)

- Perfectly protected with 3 to 6 meter depth.
